Mission: To improve the quality of performance in the workplace through the
education and awareness of mental health, support, courage, and resilience.
Apex Consulting was founded by licensed therapists who have treated individuals and families over the last decade. We have experienced firsthand how mental illness can impact a person’s mind and body and negatively affect his/her/their job and relationships. Studies have consistently proven that mental health disorders contribute to companies’ loss of productivity through absenteeism, presenteeism, and higher turnover rates.
According to a study released in 2022 of over 11,300 individuals across 17 industries, Mental Health America found that 80% of employees report their stress at work directly affects relationships with family, friends, and co-workers, and 78% of these employees believe workplace stress affects their mental health. While companies across various industries have increased their effort to support their employees’ mental health, only 34% of employees state their company’s leadership speaks openly about mental health and 46% provide their employees with mental health training.
At Apex Consulting, we are dedicated to providing evidence-based strategies and effective training to assist businesses and employers seeking to promote performance, resilience, awareness, and overall well-being within their organization. We will collaborate with company leadership to develop training specifically tailored to address the employers’ and managers’ roles in promoting positive workplace mental health.
